Massage Therapy

Massage therapy relieves stress, encourages relaxation, helps manage pain, improves flexibility and range of motion, relaxes muscles, lowers blood pressure. A wealth of benefits!

Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of the muscles and soft tissues of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, and stress. Integrated into the delivery of overall wellness, we believe it is essential to support other therapies with massage. And our CMT, Michelle Coronel is highly experienced and one of the best.

There are at least 80 different types of massage. Some are gentle, and some are very active and intense. For example, deep tissue massage is more intense and may be used to treat long-lasting muscle tension. Applying slow strokes (with the fingers, thumbs, and elbows) using intense pressure allows the therapist to reach deeper muscle layers.

Trigger point massage allows the therapist to use firm pressure to relax knots or tight, tense muscles that have been overused or injured. It's important to let your massage therapist know if you feel any discomfort during the massage. Our therapists are experts in sports rehabilitation and pain management as well as in wellness and stress management.

Why use massage? Massage may be helpful promoting relaxation and relieving pain. It's also useful for relieving muscle tension, improving circulation, relieving pressure on nerves, and helping to restore normal joint and/or musculo-skeletal movement.

We pride ourselves in delivering personalized attention, particularly for those with injuries, ailments, pregnancies and chronic conditions. Therapeutic massage can be particularly important in sports performance and recovery from injuries. It's ideal for anyone suffering from chronic pain or limited mobility due to athletic training, repetitive movements, surgeries or overuse.
